'Clash of Clans' Cheats, Tips, & Tricks: How To Get Around The Update's Different Issues [VIDEO]

Supercell finally rolled out "Clash of Clans"'s update for this month last Wednesday, October 12. A lot of changes, improvements, and power level increases were made to the game's balance for the benefit of most players, but as with anything, nothing is perfect. There are still issues to deal with, and this is how to maneuver around them.

If your smartphone says that it's no longer compatible with "Clash of Clans" after the update, there's an easy fix for this. According to MobiPicker, all you have to do is make sure your game is saved; if you're on iOS, uninstall and reinstall the game. If you're on Android, all you need to do is clear the cache on all your apps in the Settings menu. This should solve the incompatibility problem, and also a similar problem in which players open the game only for it to keep crashing on them.

If you took advantage of special offers within the game but weren't able to actually receive the items in question, there's no choice but to wait for Supercell to address this issue in another update. Users, too, can do an action they can take without needing an update. Since it involves actual microtransactions in "Clash of Clans," you can be sure that these things are their top priority so as not to lose any customers.

Lastly, Supercell has built in a new third-party app tracker within "Clash of Clans" to try and catch players who cheat in the game. Those cheaters get a taste of temporary bans from "Clash of Clans," but with this update, it seems as though the bans are going to be temporary now.

How do you deal with this? Not with any hack in the game; it seems the best way you can get your account back is to directly appeal to the developers. Good luck with that! Check out GamenGuide's full list of fixes in the new update.
