The AMD Radeon RX 490 VS NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti

From different reports, experts have collected the specifications of both graphic chips to compare which can perform well. However, there's no statement yet from both companies who made AMD Radeon RX 490 and NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti on when will be their release dates. But, there are speculations roaming around the tech world that these graphic chips will give gamers more than what they've already expected.

Both AMD Radeon RX 490 and NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti have high-end graphic cards but AMD Radeon RX 490's card is based on Third Revision of the Graphic Core Next. While NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti, its graphic chip is based on Pascal Architecture, according to Game-Debate.

For AMD Radeon RX 490's memory, through the 8192-bit memory interface, it has GPU 8GB frame buffer of Second Generation HBM. Its memory Clock Operates at 500MHz. While for NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti, through the 256-bit memory interface, it has 8GB frame buffer of Second Gen GDDR5X and its memory clock operates at about 1251MHz.

Which Graphic Card Performs Best?

According to Mobipicker, these features are only called as paper specifications. None of the AMD Radeon RX 490 and NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti has been released yet. It is still unconfirmed on how the two graphic chips work. Hence, how can some tech experts say that one is better than the other?

Even if the two graphic cards have no definite launch date yet, some reports say that NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti outshine AMD Radeon RX 490 in one aspect. It is the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti affordability. According to some speculations, AMD Radeon RX 490 will be out soon while NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti is expected to be launch early in 2017.
