"Pokemon Go" is undeniably one of the biggest and most successful breakout game for 2016. Although its popularity has significantly declined in the past two months, 'Pokemon Go' is still one of the most player mobile game in this generation.

Niantic is trying its best to prevent the popularity of 'Pokemon Go' from sliding down. The augmented reality game's biggest competitors, "Clash Of Clans" and "Clash Royale," are currently making waves with massive updates from its developers.

'Pokemon Go' Latest Update - Gym Enhancements

Niantic has officially released a fresh, new update to make the game more fun and sustainable. One of the latest update for "Pokemon Go" includes a whole new batch of 'Pokemon Go' Gym enhancements.

The newest "Pokemon Go" update allows players to maximize game battles as they can now bring six Pokemon creatures instead of one. The battles in "Pokemon Go" were also tweaked to get rid of mismatched battles. When two Pokemons fight, the creature with the higher Capability Points (CP), gets temporarily downgraded to match its opponent's CP, to encourage fair play.

'Pokemon Go' Latest Update: Perks Of Earning Medals

The latest "Pokemon Go" update also revisits the medal earnings of the players. With each medal a player earns, they award a certain bonus which enables players to catch or attract Pokemon creatures similar to the type of the latest captured Pokemon.

'Pokemon Go' Latest Update: Faster Tier Advancements

With the latest "Pokemon Go" update, players can have an easier time to increase their tier levels. Catching same-type Pokemon will make the level increase faster. However, for Pokemon creatures with two-types, like Pidgey, the scoring points are distributed on both types.

Since Pidgey is a hybrid Pokemon belonging to the Normal and Flying type, the bonus points will be averaged. The latest "Pokemon Go" update is already available for download for iOs and Android. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Pokemon Go" latest news & updates!
