'Pokemon Sun & Moon' News & Updates: New Datamined Leaks Of The Alolan Pokedex [VIDEO]

The new "Pokemon Sun & Moon" demo is out now for the 3DS in some regions. Of course, with all the excited players who just want to play the game, you've also got the tech-savvy "Pokemon" fans that are doing everything in their power to mine all the data. They've succeeded, too, as thanks to them we now know most of the unannounced Pokemon.

Kotaku reports that a bunch of hackers and credible sources have looked at the files of "Pokemon Sun & Moon" and, at least, have dug up the sprites of Pokemon we don't know yet. For one, we now know what the final evolutions of the three new starters Pokemon look like. Water starter Popplio's final evolution is even more feminine than its second evolution, which is bound to upset sexist gamers even more.

According to one of the hackers, though, the sprites in the "Pokemon Sun & Moon" demo files are the shiny models of the Pokemon. That is to say, their appearance is that of the rare alternate colorings. However, someone was able to put together some of their real appearances.

And it seems as though all of the leaks and information about "Pokemon Sun & Moon" were already broken way before this. It's confirmed that the game doesn't have any gyms, like previous entries in the series. There are also sprites of the eight so-called Ultra Beasts, and some of the popular Alola forms, which seem to be only of Generation 1 Pokemon.

The "Pokemon Sun & Moon" demo can be downloaded on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Doing so and completing the demo scenarios will get you an Ash-Greninja in the main game when it releases. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more news and updates!
