Much to the excitement of the fans, "Reign" Season 4 will introduce a more independent and stronger Mary. At the end of "Reign" season 3, Mary's life was not at all beautiful considering that she lost the love of her life, along with the enemies surrounding her.
Spoiler scenes features Mary returning to her own birth place, Scotland, Gamenguide reports. Her arrival in Scotland will bring more challenges as Mary steps to rule her kingdom. Fans can expect new enemies that will try to pull down Mary at any cost.
"Reign" Season 4 will feature Queen Mary who learns to stand on his own, without the support of Francis, and the constant bickering of Catherine. Mary and Catherine have an interesting relationship, more of rivals, rather than friends, and in-laws.

However, Entertainment Weekly reports of the special connection that bonds Mary and Catherine, noting that they understand each other deeply amidst their hatred towards another. Mary's return in Scotland will pose serious problems for Catherine.

Following the end of "Reign" season 3, the Queen of Scots and Queen Elizabeth of England have shown their dislikes for one another. Queen Mary hated Elizabeth for executing Lola after an assassination attempt on the queen.
According to several reports, Reign season 4 highlights the war between Queen Mary and Elizabeth. Queen Mary had ask the help of Gideon to take down Elizabeth and steals the throne of England for her self.
However, there are no confirmed reports as to the war between England and Scotland. Fans will have to watch "Reign" Season 4 which premieres January 2017.
