One of this year's highly anticipated open world action-adventure video games is set for a November release, but it seems that fans will have to wait a couple more weeks. Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" PC version has been delayed by two weeks as per a new announcement from the studio.
According to IGN, Ubisoft announced the two-week delay of "Watch Dogs 2," which will come out on November 29 instead of its original release date of November 15. However, fans who are looking to purchase the game for Xbox One or PlayStation 4 will still get their hands on the game on November 15. The delay is caused by the need to give the PC version of the game a little bit more "polish," as per the studio. They also wanted to ensure that the game is "optimized to meet the development team's standards."
Meanwhile, Gamespot reports that to tide fans over, Ubisoft has announced the specs and graphics details of the highly anticipated "Watch Dogs 2" game. The Dominic Guay-produced game will feature 4K support and "Ultra Textures" which can be found in the Extra details options menu and is assumed to be downloaded separately. For those who are looking forward to the visual effects of the game, know that it will feature an uncapped frame rate that indicates a great visual experience for gamers.
Speaking of visuals, "Watch Dogs 2" will also feature sliders for FOV, pixel density, and sharpness. It will also provide support for multi-monitors and have multi-windowed mode options. As soon as "Watch Dogs 2" launches, there will be an SLI/Crossfire support. Gamers will also be able to save their sessions in three auto-save slots.
"Watch Dogs 2" will also feature stuttering/lag framerate optimization for the best visual experience for gamers. Ubisoft also process Screen Space Reflections, Headlight Shadows, as well as anti-aliasing options (TXAA, MSAA, post-processing anti-aliasing options SMAA, FXAA). "Watch Dogs 2" arrives on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 15 and on PC on November 29.
