The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was highly-anticipated at Berlin's IFA 2016 event in September. Fans were stunned when the Korean tech giant did not mention the device. All reports pointed toward an imminent release as Samsung had applied for an FCC certification. This certification is essential for any tech company wanting to trade in smartphones or tablets in the US.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to be LTE and Wi-Fi equipped and could now be released in first quarter of 2017, writes SamMobile. The Galaxy Tab S3 with model numbers SM-T820 and Sm-T825 could be launched in Q1 of 2017.
As per an inside source, the SM-T825 model number is for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 LTE variant while the SM-T820 model number is for the Galaxy Tab S3 Wi-Fi. According to TechRadar, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 could also be released along with another widely-anticipated device Samsung Galaxy S8.
The Galaxy S8 is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in late February 2017. As regards the specs, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor or an octa-core Exynos 8890 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 32/64GB Internal storage options.
It is highly like that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be released in 8-inch and 9.7-inch variants having 1536x 2048 pixel resolution. As NEUROGADGET writes, the Galaxy Tab S3 could come with a heavy-duty 4,000 mAh battery and run on Android Marshmallow OS. The device is also expected to have 8MP primary and 2MP secondary cameras and USB Type-C ports.
Rumors about the device will keep circulating unless Samsung officially announces its specs and features and that is exactly what Samsung fans are eagerly waiting for. For now, fans may have to wait till February 2017 for news on when the device will be released. Stay tuned on GameNGuide for more updates on Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.
