‘Dishonored 2’ Release Date, News & Update: Emily Got New Supernatural Powers, Corvo’s Superpowers Have Been Reset?
"Dishonored 2" now brings you two playable protagonists in the characters of Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano. In 2012, Emily, the daughter of the empress, was a helpless 10-year-old girl who was kidnapped. Now, she has matured to a 25-year-old skillful assassin just like her father and bodyguard, Corvo.
With two playable characters, which one should the fans play? Knowing what are the powers of Emily and Corvo in "Dishonored 2" may help gamers choose. "Dark Vision" is a power that is common to both Emily and Corvo. It can identify the player's surroundings easily to be able to give warning.
In "Dishonored 2," Emily has new supernatural powers to use. "Far Reach" will allow her to get objects, or even enemies, towards her. She can also travel simply by holding on to something that can propel herself forward but without any physical movement.
Emily's enemies will be rendered catatonic as they move into a state of sedation with her "Mesmerize" power in "Dishonored 2." Just like a domino effect, she can also connect her enemies together and use her "Domino" power to give the same punishment to them.
In addition to Emily's supernatural powers in "Dishonored 2," she can also use her "Shadow Walk" power to be transformed into a cloud so she can move faster. Her enemies will be confused once she uses her "Doppelganger" power to make a clone of herself.
As for Corvo, he will retain several of his powers but those have been reset in terms of progress in "Dishonored 2." His "Blink" powers will still teleport him to places, but now it will also freeze the current time.
In the previous series, Corvo's "Possession" power only allows him to possess humans and animals. But in "Dishonored 2," he can now take dead bodies in control and other hosts as well.
Have you decided which protagonist character you will play on "Dishonored 2?" Arkane's game hits the store on Nov 11.
