"Stranger Things" Season 2 has recently been confirmed by the production company and fans could no longer wait for its premiere date in 2017. After several weeks of speculations, the production team has finally announced that the popular Netflix paranormal series is coming back for its sophomore run. According to the latest buzz, two more actors are going to be featured in "Stranger Things" Season 2.
Reports are circulating that Netflix has decided to continue with "Stranger Things" Season 2 after a successful run this year, which has helped the network earned more than $2 billion quarterly revenue. Aside from "Stranger Things," the network's success this year is also credited to the other hit show, "Narcos." The online streaming giant has recently revealed that the company has gained a 36 percent increase in revenue compared to the same period in 2015, according to a report by The Verge.
With the success of its first season, it was quite obvious that Netflix will air "Stranger Things" Season 2 next year. With the addition of two new actors, fans expect the upcoming "Stranger Things" Season 2 to be just as fun and exciting as the first one. According to the report, actor Dacre Montgomery and actress Sadie Sink will join the cast members of "Stranger Things" Season 2. The report says that Sink will play the role of the boyish character named Max, while Montgomery will play the role of Billy who is the step brother of Max.
Aside from "Stranger Things" Season 2, Sink is currently included in other Netflix shows such as "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and "The Americans." Although the production team has yet to reveal new details about its development and Air date, fans are pretty excited for the show to arrive.
