Ever wondered if there's more to just throwing curveballs and throw bonuses? Does it even actually matter to practice and attempt that perfect throw? Apparently, yes!

Does Curveball Affect Catch Rate in 'Pokemon GO?'

For all we know, whenever we make a successful curveball throw, we get a 10XP bonus. But with The Silph Road's new findings, it does actually help or play a big role in enhancing your "Pokemon GO" trainer's catch rate.

With the increased catch rate using curved balls, there is no actual percentage yet of by how much it increases the possibility of a "Pokemon GO" trainer successfully capturing a Pokemon. However, there is still a significant difference between catches that are caught using curveballs and straight throws in "Pokemon GO."

Does Throw Bonus Affect Catch Rate in 'Pokemon GO?'

Another long awaiting question that needs to be answered is does that "Nice", "Great" and "Excellent" mean anything more than just extra bonus XP? Good thing to know, yes!

The Silph Road also made research in regards to this "Pokemon GO" theory and their research would show that the higher the throw bonus, the higher the catch rate bonus as well. Now that might come over to as common sense, but it's good to know that finally, we are sure by now that attempting good throws does help us capture Pokemon in "Pokemon GO."
