The grand premiere of "Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is now ready for viewing, and fans are now excited to see the final revelation of the TV series. Once again, Mystic Falls holds the battle between good and evil.

The season finale of the "Vampire Diaries" has caught so much attention especially in Elena's return to the show, as well as who will be next villain that would confront Mystic Falls. TV Line reports of the character Sybil who is labelled as the evil herself.

Sybil, played by Nathalie Kelley, is the evil that has the power to control the mind of her victims. "Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will show Enzo and Damon being caught under Sybil's enchantment. Spoiler scenes featured Caroline, Bonnie and Stefan searching for Damon and Enzo.

Although there is no confirmation yet that Nina Dobrev would come back to the series, a lot of reports have pointed Nina to play the role of a savior for Damon. It was previously reported by Gamenguide that Vampire Diaries Season 8 marks the return of Elena Gilbert.

The love story of Damon and Elena have captured the hearts of the viewers with their commitment to each other. More fans are now expressing their wishes to see Damon and Elena together.

Although Ian Somehalder voiced out that Elena does not deserve any of the Salvatore brothers, reports are now circling that Elena comes back to save Damon from Sybil. Following the end of Vampire Diaries Season 6, Elena's heart was for Damon.

With the comeback of Elena to the "Vampire Diaries" Season 8, it is rumored that Nikki Reed is not comfortable with Ian working together with Nina, as it might lead to more bitterness and resentment. However, there are no truths behind these reports.
