"Steven Universe" Season 4 is currently taking a break but fans can expect new episodes to air starting in November. The Cartoon Network series aired the last episode on Sept. 15 prior to its hiatus. Titled "Gem Harvest," fans are expecting that the episode will be a 30-minute special and that the series' return will be big.
An official synopsis for this particular episode has not been released yet, but there's already a sneak peek coming from Cartoon Network. It appears that "Steven Universe" Season 4 returning episode coincides with fall as it has something to do with pumpkin carving. In the episode, Peridot and Lapis Lazuli were thrilled to have found that a carved pumpkin has come alive. Peridot was excited for Steven to find about the pumpkin that acted like a dog. Peridot then took the pumpkin off its patch, but it turns out that the pumpkin doesn't like her or Lapis. The vegetable went running straight to Steven as if he was its master.
Peridot was upset why this dog-like pumpkin won't come near her or Lapis, despite Steven pushing it to go to them in "Steven Universe" Season 4. Steven got an idea on how to make sure Peridot and Lapis have their own submissive pumpkin. The human boy then took one pumpkin from the patch and started carving it in front of the living vegetable. The pumpkin saw how Steven poked and hollowed the pumpkin and was somehow horrified by it.
It then ran to Lapis Lazuli for comfort, which then resulted to the vegetable bonding with the gems and seemingly hating Steven. Fans are thrilled as they see that the pumpkin has become an addition to the "Lapidot" family. Speculation is also rife that Lapis and Peridot will fuse in the upcoming episode of "Steven Universe" Season 4.
Fans are already excited to see Steven back in action and with new adventures together with his Homeworld Gems friends. "Steven Universe" Season 4 new episode is slated to release next month. Cartoon Network has yet to announce the exact premiere date. Watch the sneak peek video below.
