Exciting features about the upcoming "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" Nintendo game has been unveiled that hinted of a new "Magnesis" power. Meanwhile, the new Temple of Resurrection may contain an interesting secret about some of the game's side quests.
"Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is one of the highly anticipated gaming titles for Nintendo consoles. As the latest installment in the "Zelda" franchise, the game is set to introduce players to a new world, as well as interesting new characters.
One of the new features is a power called "Magnesis" that allows the game's protagonist Link to move metal objects. A game demo review posted on Capsule Computers highlighted the said ability and how players can utilize it to complete in-game puzzles or quests.
A press of a button can filter out the items that Link can control using the "Magnesis" power. The said functionality can even reveal the location of a few hidden objects.
In other news, the Nintendo game's new Temple of Resurrection appears to have several secrets that some players may find useful. An observation made by YouTuber GameOver Jesse, as cited by iDigital Times, hinted of a potential link between the game's various shrines and the temple's unique wall art.
Identified as the place where Link woke up, the dimly lit Temple of Resurrection features several wall depictions that appear to be constellations. Most of the constellation points glowed with an orange light, while some contained blue lines.
The Temple's wall art may serve as a map to identify the shrine quests that have been completed and shrine locations that remain unvisited. The same report highlighted a scene in the game's previously released trailer that showed completed shrines with a blue glow, while unopened shrines had an orange glow. Specific parts of the Temple's constellation-like map may also register the same color depending on a player's shrine quest progress.
At this point, it is still unclear if the Temple's wall art will have a connection to the game's 100 shrines. Nintendo has yet to confirm if the said theory is true.
"Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is expected to be released in 2017 for the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo NX consoles. Watch the game's trailer below:
