‘Pokemon Sun,’ ‘Pokemon Moon’ Release Date, News & Update: Pokemon Trainers Can Catch Ultra Beasts; Alternate Dimension Possible? More Game Details Revealed

Month after month, The Pokemon Company has been generous in offering teasers and monster reveals for the upcoming Nintendo game, "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon." Fans might start to think what other secrets the game could be holding. There's still so much to discover about the game and among them are called Ultra Beasts.

Recently, there has been a massive leak on the monsters set to appear in "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon." More than that, fans came to know that Ultra Beasts exist in the game. Not much is known about these creatures, but somehow Nintendo already confirmed via Polygon that they are very much part of the game and that Pokemon trainers can catch them. It remains unclear though if all eight beasts can be captured. It is likely that they roam the wild and will eventually be caught.

According to the report, these Ultra Beasts are creatures exclusively appearing in the Alola region of "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon." At this point, the Ultra Beasts are creatures of mystery. There are even speculations that they don't belong to the Pokemon species and are actually human beings capable of transforming themselves. It's also possible that Ultra Beasts belong to an alternate dimension. Nintendo has yet to reveal more about these creatures but the company did say that the beasts will play an important role in the game's story.

Meanwhile, it was already confirmed that "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" also features classic pocket monsters that have their Alolan identity. Some Pokemon like Diglett, Pikachu and Geodude have different characteristics unique only to the Alola region. They have new abilities that help them adapt to the island region. More about the game and Ultra Beasts will be revealed once "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will be available on Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18.
