‘Dead Rising 4’ News & Update: Digital-Only Deluxe Edition & Season Pass Now Available; Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack Details

Microsoft recently announced the "Dead Rising 4" Season Pass and digital-only Deluxe Edition. The special edition of the game will be available on the Microsoft Store and select retail shops around the world for players who purchase a digital code.

"Dead Rising 4" Deluxe Edition costs $79.99, which already includes the Season Pass, while the Season Pass alone costs $24.99. The package will include access to an all-new multiplayer mode, the exclusive bonus Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack and new story content. The "Dead Rising 4" Season Pass will feature the Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack, the Super Ultra "Dead Rising 4" Mini Golf and "Dead Rising 4" Frank Rising DLC.

Xbox.com reported that the "Dead Rising 4" Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack features protagonist Frank West returning home for the Christmas holidays but will be encountering more problems in Willamette, Colorado. The special pack will feature festive zombies, weapons, vehicles, outfits and more to match the season.

The Super Ultra "Dead Rising 4" Mini Golf showcases 18 holes of pure wanton destruction. Up to four players can take on the green online, complete with zombie features.

GameSpot revealed that the Super Ultra "Dead Rising 4" Mini Golf is extreme, featuring Willamette, Colorado on the fairways, particularly the classic Willamette Memorial Megaplex Mall. Frank West can use various weapons as golf clubs to hit the oversized golf ball. The game is made even more challenging with the presence of zombies and other hazards on the course.

The "Dead Rising 4" Frank Rising DLC delves on the story about Frank West having recently been infected and having to find a cure fast before he turns into a zombie forever. During his quest, Frank realizes that zombies are smarter, people cannot be trusted and paramilitary troops are planning to eradicate all of Willamette. Frank will have to discover the truth, at the same time trying to save the city and himself.

"Dead Rising 4" is set to launch on Dec. 6, 2016 on Xbox One and PC. The "Dead Rising" Deluxe Edition is already available for preordering. More updates and details are expected soon.
