‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: ‘GTA 6’ Revelation Following ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Soon?

“Red Dead Redemption 2” is imminently coming out, appeasing a lot of gamers who have been long waiting for the official announcement of the sequel. However, the revelation may be one-half of fulfilling the gaming appetite of many with no official word yet on “Grand Theft Auto 6”.

Going through the numbers, hearing about a potential “Grand Theft Auto 6” reveal may not be far behind. Rockstar Games is apparently taking it slow since it does have a schedule to follow. “Red Dead Redemption” came out back in 2010 while “GTA 5” followed in 2013.

Doing the match, the feasible date of release for “Grand Theft Auto 6” is likely 2020 given the seven-year protocol over the supposed five-year allowance. Seeing “Red Dead Redemption 2” coming out only in the Fall of 2017, the release dates have been obviously altered.

With a long way to go, it is understandable that Rockstar Games is calling on fans to make do with “GTA 5” for the meantime. Money is an obstacle considering the company may need more than $265 million to go into full production of “Grand Theft Auto 6”, Neurogadget reported.

The cost of producing “Grand Theft Auto 6” will expectedly be bigger though a lot depends on the features Rockstar plans to integrate. One feature teased is that of virtual reality, something that will obviously jack up the game development price of the sixth installment. Much of this was reported in a previous post.

Aside from the graphical angle for “Grand Theft Auto 6” there is also the content most gamers will be taking note of. New characters, maps and an appended storyline are expected and all that accounts for busy days ahead once Rockstar decides to start digging deep as far as game production is concerned.

“GTA Online” is another offer that gamers can consider for now as the wait for 2020 continues. Along with “GTA 5”, gamers will have to comfort themselves with these current games until Rockstar Games wets its feet for “Grand Theft Auto 6”.
