'Diablo 3' Not Exclusive To Sony? First Look At Gameplay

It was a cause for celebration when Sony managed to partner up with Blizzard, finding a home to the mammoth "Diablo 3." However, it looks like Blizzard isn't satisfied with having their hit on just PC and PlayStation platforms.

"We don't have any announcements to make at this time ... But we're not necessarily a Sony exclusive," said "Diablo 3's" Senior Producer Julia Humpreys to the Penny Arcade Report. At the moment, the game's only been confirmed for PlayStation 3 and 4 as far as consoles go. Does Blizzard have something planned for Xbox 360, maybe even the Wii U? Blizzard knows, but they're not saying.

A trailer is also making the rounds, offering up the first look at the PS3 version of the game, and it looks pretty impressive. See for yourself below.

After learning from their mistakes when "Diablo 3" launched on PC, Blizzard announced that the PS3 and 4 versions can be played offline.

Blizzard revealed the game's future arrival to the consoles alongside Sony during the unveiling of the PS4. It marks the second time a game in the series was released for consoles, the first being the original "Diablo" on the first model PlayStation in 1998. That game featured co-op play for two people, but lacked online functionality.

A whole new user interface has been promised for the game's console versions.
