The month-long wait for "Boruto" Chapter 7 begins, with the recent release of its sixth chapter. For fans, here are some of the speculations for the coming installment and a recap of Chapter 6.
The recent "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 6 is probably a letdown for most fans. Of course, most fans were anticipating a heated exchange between the two Otsutsukis and the Konoha defenders lead by Naruto and Sasuke. Instead, most of the actions happened behind the scenes as the narrator, Boruto, was unconscious when it happened. And now, the storyline jumps to a rescue attempt for Naruto in the coming "Boruto" Chapter 7.
But there are bits and pieces of the fight that was revealed in the recent chapter. It was learned that Naruto, instead of blasting to bits the huge chakra ball hurled at them by the Otsutsuki, opted to instead take the brunt of the impact, preventing the catastrophic blast waves that would have followed. A wise move as it would have meant the entire village in ruins in the coming "Boruto" Chapter 7.
Previous spoilers were correct, Naruto was indeed abducted by the Otsutsuki, most likely after taking some damage due to opting to absorb their attacks. Then there is Hinata, Boruto's mother and Naruto's wife, shown to be injured, a result in her failed attempt at stopping the Otsutsukis from taking away her husband. However, with Sakura's skill in healing jutsu, her full recovery is assured in the coming "Boruto" Chapter 7.
But most fans would probably question the wisdom of allowing someone as young and inexperienced as Boruto to join to Naruto extraction team in "Boruto" Chapter 7. True, he might have potential being Naruto's son but at this stage, what has he truly learned in the combat arts?
It can be recalled that the only reason he was able to pass the Chunnin tests with relative ease was because of the Kote device he was using. Without it, he would have been very ineffective indeed. What purpose is his presence in the coming rescue of Naruto in the coming "Boruto" Chapter 7?
