Game of Thrones Director is Making a Sinbad Movie? Details Of The Upcoming Film

Miguel Sapochnik, director of the TV series "Game of Thrones", has been tapped to direct a live action version of "Sinbad", as announced by Studio 8, who won the bid for the project. Sapochnik is an English film and TV director who earned an Emmy for his work directing "Game of Thrones". Known to have a good grip in making films and TV shows, Miguel Sapochnik will be directing Studio 8's Sinbad; reports The Hollywood Reporter

 "'Sinbad' was a rare comprehensive and engaging pitch which lends itself to an international audience and big visual set pieces but also distinct and unique actor roles for a diverse cast of characters," Studio 8 said in a statement.

Sapochnik is of Argentine origin, and also a storyboard artist. Receiving positive response from both critics and viewers, he will certainly get his fans thrilled with his upcoming movie project. In the latest season of "Game of Thrones", Sapochnik directed the last two episodes; "The Winds of Winter" and "Battle of the Bastards". He is also known to have directed some episodes of "House", "True Detective", "Mind Games", "Fringe" and is set to direct an episode of "Iron Fist".

In the "Sinbad" movie, the main character will be sailing throughout the seas of Asia and Africa. In his adventures, he encounters monsters and goes to magical points and upon returning to Baghdad, he becomes wealthier. The tales of Sinbad brings viewers an enchanted adventure throughout his journey. Teaching the viewers that life doesn't provide things as easy as slicing a piece of cake, but learning how to brave the seven seas of darkness.
