Dice, the developers for “Battlefield 4,” put out two new characters for the upcoming game.

One is a woman named Hanna and the other is an unknown male character. These new character come alongside a Shanghai skyline on the game's web site.

Who these characters are and what purpose they will serve remains unclear. A new trailer for “Battlefield 4” is expected to be released on March 26, which should give us some more information.

Earlier there were reports that EA and DICE were sending out a “mission package” to invitees for the upcoming Game Developers Conference, which is taking place in San Franciso now.

The package weighed in at 20 pounds and was made of solid metal. It also had the logo for Battlefield engraved on top of it and contained a GoPro (a wearable helmet camera), “Medal of Honor: Warfighter” for Xbox 360 and PS3, “Battlefield 3” for both consoles and an invite to the “Battlefield 4” reveal.

Additionally, it has also been reported that the “Battlefield 4” beta will be open to “Battlefield 3” Premium subscribers.

“Battlefield 4” is expected to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2013.
