'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' News & Updates: Hit From 'Dragon Ball Super' Added As A Playable Character To The Game!

Looks like "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is shaping up to be an, even more, fun fighting-RPG experience than its predecessor. A reveal trailer from the previous day announced that Hit from "Dragon Ball Super" is being added to the much-awaited game.

Anime streaming site Crunchyroll reports that Bandai Namco Entertainment has added Hit to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in a reveal trailer that debuted last Tuesday, October 18. The 28-second video doesn't really show much more of any gameplay, other than a teaser of Hit fighting Super Saiyan Goku. Not much is really known yet about his involvement in the game, other than he will apparently be a playable character.

Other than that, Bandai Namco Entertainment also revealed through their official Twitter account that alongside Goku Black, who will be a in pre-order bonus, Frost and Kyabe will be part of the future DLC. It seems a lot of characters from various corners of the "Dragon Ball" universe will be popping up in the game, making for a fun experience for hardcore fans.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is a hybrid fighting-RPG game that features a bunch of fighting arenas the highly-customizable protagonist will be able to travel to. Fans of the first "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" game will have much to look forward to here. An early review by Capsule Computer Australia of the game's beta says that the entire game "feels better overall," making it something to definitely look forward to as a "Dragon Ball" experience.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One first in North America next week, October 25. After that, Europe and the rest of the world will be getting the game through Steam on October 28. Keep it locked here for more news and updates on "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
