According to Gamenguide, "Vikings" Season 4B will bring back the downtrodden Ragnar Lothbrock (Travis Fimmel) from his defeat and self-exile. However, he will soar above the shame and ridicule of his sons and loyal subjects to reclaim his rightful place in the kingdom of Kattegat.

The storyline of "Vikings" Season 4B will unravel a reunion of Ragnar and Lagertha, his ex-wife, his sons Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig), Ivar (Alex Hogh Anderson), and all his other sons, Screenrant reported. Highlighting his return is his challenging role as a father and a king who has to train and pit his sons to put the right heir to his throne.

"Vikings" Season 4B will be a season of skirmishes within Ragnar's kingdom as two of his sons want to be king. It will also be a season of mending relationship with his friend Floki, a one-time builder of his ships and most loyal tribesman.

Auditionsfree reported that casting for season 5 has been done in Dublin as the showrunner hires local stars and talents for the thousand casts. Additonally, joining the main casts in season 5 is Jonathan Rhys Meyers, star of "The Tudors".

While "Vikings" Season 4B is ready for its premiere on November 30, season 5 of "Vikings" has started filming on its location in Ireland. The story of Ragnar Lothbrock will continue to follow the stories of his sons, the famous and ruthless Viking conquerors of Europe, mainly England.
