iMac 2016 Release Date, News & Update: New PCs Arriving With MacBook Air 2016 in October 27? Specs & Features Revealed

It has been a while since Apple has released any news on the iMac 2016. The highly anticipated device is still on the Christmas wish list for some tech lovers. It is becoming clear that their wish might be granted as it has been reported that Apple will be unveiling the iMac 2016 and other Apple PC products in an event next Wednesday, October 26.

According to the Business Insider, while the updated MacBook Pro will be the highlight of the event, new MacBook Airs and iMac 2016 computers will also be unveiled. The announcement of the iMac 2016 is said to be the reason why Apple moved its Q4 earnings report to October 25 to avoid a "scheduling conflict."

The impending release of the iMac 2016 and its other PC products is expected to help the stock price of Apple to rise even further. It was already performing well, according to Fortune. The stock price of Apple is now at $116.59, a 2.2 percent increase and a year-to-date high for the tech giant. The big increase is seen as a possible market reaction to rival company Samsung's battery troubles with its Galaxy Note 7 smartphones, which the Korean company promised it will get to the bottom of.

Apple will be announcing the release date for iMac 2016 in the event next week. It is possible that the iMac 2016 will be available in stores by the second week of November in time for the Thanksgiving holidays. Should there be any more news about the iMac 2016, GameNGuide will be posting more about it in the next few days.
