'Supergirl' Season 2 Spoilers, News & Update: Andrew Kreisberg Hints Different Jeremiah Danvers; First Look at Lynda Carter as POTUS Here!

The migration of "Supergirl" season 2 to The CW is successful, as the show has launched its sophomore season to positive reviews. Tonight's episode will see the first look at Lynda Carter as POTUS, a highly anticipated appearance by the original Wonder Woman herself. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg also recently hints at a different Jeremiah Danvers this season.

In speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said that fans will get to see a different Jeremiah Danvers. This is because contrary to the belief that he had died, Jeremiah Danvers is, in fact, alive and in the hands of Project Cadmus. Brenda Strong's character, a doctor in Project Cadmus, already implied that Jeremiah Danvers is alive, but he'll definitely be different following his 12-year stint in Cadmus.

According to Andrew Kreisberg, he and the writers wanted to retain the mystery surrounding Jeremiah Danvers, and that fans shouldn't expect the very same person they met back in season 1. There's no official word about Dean Cain reprising his role as Jeremiah Danvers in "Supergirl" season 2, but fans are hopeful that they would get to see a glimpse of the "Superman" actor again.

Meanwhile, we have the first look at Lynda Carter as POTUS in "Supergirl" season 2, before she debuts tonight. According to Comicbook, the episode will find National City torn in an alien vs. human rights issue, leading the POTUS played by Carter to step up and take charge. Of course, she'll need to help of Supergirl to protect her from her enemies. The episode will also find Kara on a hunt for Mon-El, who escaped and may have something to do with the attack on the president.

"Supergirl" season 2 episode 3 titled "Welcome to Earth" airs tonight at 8 p.m. on The CW. Meanwhile, check out the first look at Lynda Carter as POTUS below.
