The nearing "Teen Wolf" Season 6 release date is anticipated with excitement tinged with a bit of sadness by most fans. While the showing of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 1 will finally mark the start of another highly enjoyable and entertaining season, it will also mark the beginning of the end of a great series. EP Teased Spinoff After 'Teen Wolf' Season 6?
"Teen Wolf" Season 6 fans who are longing to extend the experience by way of a Spinoff are not alone. Actually, the idea was even pondered by executive producer Jeff Davis a few years back. In fact, they even have a specific angle on how to approach the spinoff's storyline.
In the recent New York Comic-Con, Davis talked about mulling over a "Teen Wolf" spinoff centered around Eichen House, the mental facility shown in previous seasons, reports Deadline. According to the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 executive producer, they originally planned to have Doctor Deaton head the facility. Doctor Deaton, of course, is Scot's boss, a veterinarian and a Druid.
Is this finally the answer to fans' prayers of extending the series beyond the upcoming "Teen Wolf" Season 6? Just to be clear, a spinoff was not yet announced. But then again, a spinoff might not be a bad idea either and certainly not an impossibility. Popular shows usually spawn a spinoff after they close down; the list of examples include "Sons of Anarchy," "The Good Wife" and "Vampire Diaries." Surely there is room enough for one more.
'Teen Wolf' Season 6 Cast Joins PopFest In LA
Incidentally, fans who might want to hangout with the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast just got their wish granted. The pack are headed for Entertainment Weekly's PopFest this coming October 30, 2016.
The PopFest will be held in Los Angeles. Confirmed "Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast who will be attending include Tyler Posey, Dylan Sprayberry, Cody Christian, Shelley Hennig as well as Khylin Rhambo.
