Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Dating Again: Rita Ora’s Ex Thinks Pop Superstar’s Cover of 'This is What You Came For' Was Incredible

Well, apparently there's no bad blood between ex-lovers Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, whose initially cordial break-up went up in flames after Calvin Harris flew in a fiery tweetstorm about Swift's contribution to popular summer hit, "This Is What You Came For." Apart from admitting that she had, indeed co-written the song, Taylor Swift had been mostly mum about the issue--until she sung about it at her first and only concert in 2016.

This Is What You Came For

The 26-year-old singer headlined the Formula 1 Grand Prix Concert in Austin, Texas, which was her only concert for 2016. About 80,000 fans attended the show as Taylor Swift rocked the stage with her top hits, "Blank Space" and "Shake It Off." Unfortunately for the former girlfriend of Calvin Harris, she had come down with the cold three days before, but seemed perfectly at home on stage, where she hasn't been since the last stretch of her 1989 World Tour.

Then, in a masterful stroke of showmanship, Taylor Swift sat down at a piano and began playing the contentious hit, "This is What You Came For," originally made by Calvin Harris. Before she played, Taylor Swift had coaxed the crowd to sing along with her, so she'll get to know what it feels like to "hear it sung back to [her]." She then played a stripped-down version of the track, which was a far cry from the EDM-dance tunes of the popular summer hit.

Calvin Harris connection: How did he react?

E! Online reported that Taylor Swift told the crowd that the most rewarding feeling in the world as a songwriter is having a crowd sing it back to her. Fans would remember that Taylor Swift co-wrote the song while she was still in a relationship with Calvin Harris under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg to keep her contribution under wraps.

While Calvin Harris has yet to publicly come out with a statement regarding Taylor Swift's latest move, an exclusive report from Hollywood Life said the Scottish DJ had been nothing but all-praises for his ex-girlfriend since watching the performance. He acknowledged that Taylor Swift had done an incredible job on the song that she's written and reportedly thought she'd "knocked it right out of the park."
