MacBook Air 2016 Release Date, News & Update: October 27 Event All About Laptops? 5K Display Delayed Until Mid-2017? Specs, Features Unveiled!

The October 27 event of Apple is almost coming, yet the company hasn't announced anything especially regarding the devices they will launch on that day. But, fans are hoping that its latest laptops like the MacBook Air 2016 and MacBook Pro 2016 will be released on the said event.

According to a report from 9to5Mac, the KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that there will be three new devices the company will release on October 27. The analyst said that the new 13-inch MacBook Pro, a new 15-inch MacBook Pro and a 13-inch MacBook will be launched; hopefully, the MacBook Air 2016 too.

The upcoming event Apple will host is said to be all about laptops including the MacBook Air 2016, as stated by Engadget. There have been several rumors stating that the latest laptops by Apple will be having a 5K stand-alone display, but the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also predicted that the 5K display feature will not come until mid-2017.

Meanwhile, several reports say that the MacBook Air 2016 will sport the Intel's 7th gen Kaby Lake Processor. However, tech critics strongly believe that this is not possible. According to them, MacBook Air 2016 will sport the Skylake Processor instead and couple it with AMD Polaris graphic set.

Apple should also find a way to improve the MacBook Air 2016 because recent report says that the latest ASUS Zen Book 3 exceeded the MacBook Air as the lightest and thinnest laptop in the world. However, the MacBook Air 2016 might also have a TouchScreen Display and a Touch ID that was commonly used on Apple's smartphones. With the Touch ID, a Fingerprint Sensor will also be there to improve the laptop's security feature.

The MacBook Air 2016 will also have an improved battery life. It might also have an 8GB RAM and an Apple-Pen that will allow users to use a trackpad. These features are just rumors and fans should take it with grain of salt. Stay tuned to Game & Guide for more news and updates.
