‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Updates: Color-Coded Egg Hatching, Medals & More Lead List Of New Features

Niantic tries to enhance “Pokemon Go” with yet another round of updates, a new version which reportedly tackles game features such as egg-hatching and medal accumulation. Even the Pokemon Go Plus accessory will be getting some updates as well, something tied up to better usage.

iOS users will be getting 1.13.3 while Android players can expect 0.43.3 rolling out anytime soon. One of the changes to immediately expect in the "Pokemon Go" update is tied up with egg-hatching.

According to Pokemon Go Live, there will be now visual enhancements for “Pokemon Go” players to determine which egg is 2 KM, 5 KM, and 10 KM. The new update will be color-coded with the 2 KM eggs in green, 5 KM eggs in orange and 10 KM eggs in purple.

Color-coded Egg Hatching

With the “Pokemon Go” color-coding scheme, players can now easily determine which egg to incubate and walk out to see what pocket monster they can add to their PokeDex. As with the present egg-hatching expeditions on "Pokemon Go," the best bet to get better Pokemon is with the 10 KM eggs despite the long walks needed to hatch them.

New Icon and indicators

Aside from that, “Pokemon Go” type icons have also been added to aid players in knowing more about the critters on screen. This could be of good use for players who are looking to snag more medals with the quest normally requiring gamers to capture pocket monsters of a similar type. This should be a wiki of sorts since "Pokemon Go" players no longer have to exit and browse the web to be versed on the type of Pokemon they are getting, GameSpot reported.

Players who use "Pokemon Go" Plus can look forward to changes as well with a new battery indicator that should help fend of disruptions when hunting down Pokemon characters. The last on the patch notes includes minor fixes to text files.
