The new "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Nintendo game will be out on the 3DS on Nov. 18, but players can already get first glimpse of the upcoming Pokemon game through its newly released demo. New Pokemon and features already made their way into the internet, much to the delight of aspiring "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players. But, playing of the demo continues to churn up more surprises and secrets into the new gameplay.

For players who want to make the most out of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" demo, as well as pick up some in-game surprises before its launch, here's the lowdown of everything they need to know about the released demo: tips and tricks, secrets, additional features, and more.

Talking to the folks

Like all Pokemon games, one of the primary features of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is being able to talk to the townsfolk to be able to gain clues, items or friends. But for "Pokemon Sun and Moon," doing so will unravel a seeming calendar of events of when Pokemon players should return to the demo, according to Youtuber FeintAttacks.

One particular townfolk named "Mysterious Old Man" got fans talking, because he appears to only exist in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" universe to troll players with his weird and bizarre platitudes. Fans speculate that he in fact holds secrets to playing "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Meanwhile, a store manager always tells players to come back to him in a month, aka "Pokemon Sun and Moon" release date on Nov. 18.

Free giveaways and items

As for free items and giveaways on "Pokemon Sun and Moon," there are plenty for players especially during the first playthrough, and these can be transferred to the full game once it's released. For example, players can get items on Ten Carat Hill, as well as a star piece  from a female Ace Trainer. The best prize, however, is getting an Ash-colored Greninja when they complete the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" demo.
