With Bethesda on the verge of releasing “Skyrim Special Edition”, the focus has understandably shifted back to the real state of “The Elder Scrolls 6”. The heat should ramp up by next week though the state of the sixth installment is likely to be the same – stale.
Pete Hines already mentioned before that “The Elder Scrolls 6” is not even close to a stage of development meaning nothing tied up to the game has been tackled as of to date. Some are still under the impression that Hines is trying to throw them off. This is reportedly in an effort to divert the attention from “Skyrim Special Edition”, a logical ploy to keep folks on focus to the upcoming remastered version, Gaming Bolt reported.
If Bethesda is to follow their game release schedule, any hope of seeing “The Elder Scrolls 6” would be in 2019. This would be about two years from now though it remains to be seen if the two-year allowance would be more than enough for game developers to come up with a credible game.
Features are of course what most want to know and various possibilities have cropped up. As mentioned in a previous post, a new kind of leveling system could work. This will no longer be about the stats but more on special skills and longevity of gameplay.
As far as the storylines, it is believed that “The Elder Scrolls 6” will pick up from where “Skyrim Special Edition” will leave off. Hence, the upcoming remastered version could provide a link of things to come even if it is simply an enhanced edition to highlight heavy graphics and game performance, GameSpot reported.
