Previous reports suggested that all three devices will arrive before the year ends; however, the Redmond-based company has yet to provide concrete details with regard to these releases. According to the latest report, the upcoming Microsoft Surface Phone will not be revealed anytime soon.
There were reports saying that the new smartphone will be the highlight of the upcoming Microsoft event; however, tech experts suggest that the October 26 affair will only unveil the company's software products. They added that there is no indication whatsoever that would suggest that Microsoft is going to reveal the new Microsoft Surface Phone 2016 this month.
Although the much awaited smartphone has become a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet for many months now, the company has continued to stay mum about its development and release. According to Paul Thurrott, a reputable tech journalist, Microsoft is said to be in limbo as of the moment whether to continue the Microsoft Surface Phone 2016 project or not. Apparently, the company is not confident enough to decide whether this year is the best time to go back to the smartphone market. Its previous releases with Lumia smartphones were nothing but disappointments.
Meanwhile, according to PC Advisor, Microsoft is going to start its Windows Event today, which is expected to unveil several of the company's upcoming hardware and software releases including the Windows 10 Redstone 2. Despite the uncertainty, many fans are still positive that Microsoft will soon announce the new Microsoft Surface Phone 2016 this year.
