‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: Extended Trailer Cause New Stir For Sequel

Rockstar Games finds itself under a lot of attention following the announcement of “Red Dead Redemption 2” set to come out in the Fall of 2017. Versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have been confirmed with PC users needing to wait if one indeed in the works.

Rockstar made the announcement via their Facebook page following anxious moments of the red logo which many immediately associated with the coming of “Red Dead Redemption 2”. In a previous post, it was mentioned that the sequel will narrate the epic tale of America’s unforgiving heartland but more may have just been spilled courtesy of a user named “Crunchewy” over at Reddit.

The Reddit thread drew a lot of flak when Crunchewy shared the alleged extended trailer for “Red Dead Redemption 2”. The post drove in a lot of readers and eventually raised more questions than excitement. The thread would, later on, be found to be false.

Despite the sheepish development, Crunchewy may have technically been right. Apparently, there is an extended trailer up on the web with a couple of edits.

Other than that, the search for the new features on “Red Dead Redemption 2” continues. Many believe that there will be new maps and improved graphics. Mentioned in a previous post as well is the possibility of seeing a “Red Dead Online” game which opens the doors to multiplayer gameplay.

The best way to visualize what “Red Dead Online” may have to offer is to look at another Rockstar gaming franchise – “GTA Online”. This online gameplay version has been up for quite some time now and has been one of the cash cows of the company. Could “Red Dead Online” possibly to the same?

Before going that far, it would be best to see what “Red Dead Redemption 2” will actually have to offer. All that happens in the Fall of next year.
