‘GTA 5’ Online Latest News & Update: $250,000 Free Cash for Players, New Skull-Fronted Bikes Available And More New Items for Sale!

It's double the celebration for "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5 Online" as the popular video game celebrates the Halloween season as well as its three-year online anniversary. All "GTA 5" Online players who log in from Oct. 25 to Oct. 31 via Playstation 4, Windows PC as well as XBox One will get a cash gift of $250,000, which will be deposited into the Maze Bank by Nov. 4.

Players who use exploits and mods to accumulate absurd amounts of in-game cash, meanwhile, ought to be wary as "GTA 5" Online will be subtracted massive amounts of funds from them. This is in order to promote legitimately earned cash on the game, according to Polygon.

Apart from the free cash, "GTA 5" Online will also be introducing the skull-fronted LCC Sanctus on Oct. 28. The new bike comes with the Lost vs. Damned mode, which will pit Angels versus Devils in a day/night cycle that lasts for 60 seconds. The Angels gain the upper hand during light as the Devils reign in the darkness. Both sides gain increased armor, health and weapons during their advantage period.

Other Halloween items

Other Halloween-themed items from last year will also be making their way on the "GTA 5" Online. Two creepy new vehicles, the Lurcher Hurse and Franken Strange, will be up on the GTA Online Halloween Surprise. A new version of the Pegassi Vortex motorcycle is also available now.

Apart from the big items, "GTA 5" players can also lavish themselves with new masks for Heists, which can be found on the Monsters section of the Vespucci Movie Masks. There's also a new Slasher adversary mode for eight players, where a player assigned as the Slasher attack their prey with a shotgun.

But while players wait for this new Sanctus on "GTA 5" Online, Rockstar is also holding an anniversary sale which offers 30 percent discounts on all weapons, vehicles and other in-game content until Nov. 7. These include "fan-favorite items" like the Luxor Deluxe private plane. And for players worried about rank and completion requirements, don't fret: Rockstar also temporarily disabled these requisites so "GTA 5" Online players can use them.
