'WWE 2K17' Release Date, News & Update: Sony, Microsoft Now Hold New Patch! Still Waiting For Approval? Aims to Fix Data-Deleting Bugs?

Following some work on a new patch for "WWE 2K17," 2K Games has announced that the patch is now in Sony and Microsoft's hands, but still waiting for approval. The studio took to Twitter to share the news, writing that they've submitted the patch to the console companies and that they will soon "post final patch notes and estimated timing before it goes live.

According to GamesRadar, there is not definite timeframe for the release of the "WWE 2K17" patch, mostly because these approvals usually take time. They did promise, however, to keep fans posted on the progress and let us know when they have a word of the release date.

Those who play "WWE 2K17" may have noticed that there are some data-deleting bugs that must be addressed by 2K Games. Another common glitch is the graphics clipping and ripping -- this is when background graphics don't appear as they should. Another glitch reported by Attack of the Fanboy is with the character Samoa Joe, who refused to do anything except tie-ups.

Additionally, some users have reported that when they download wrestlers in the Community Creations, the in-game data somehow gets deleted. This forces gamers to start over in either Universe or Career mode.

Community Manager Bryan Vore took to the "WWE 2K17" forums to suggest not to upload or download any Custom Superstars, Arenas, or Championships that feature over 14 unique custom logs. They've also requested creators to limit custom logo usage to as little as 14 or below. He promised that once they get a fix, users will be able to use 14 or more logos.

"WWE 2K17" was released on October 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Comment below your thoughts on the game and if you've experienced any bugs in the new game.
