One of this year's most heartbreaking celebrity splits came in the form of the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt divorce. The pair, who were ultimate relationship goals when they raised both adoptive and biological children, called it quits in September when Jolie filed a divorce against her husband, Pitt.

According to Us Weekly, the actress currently has full custody of all their six children following the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt divorce. However, the latest news surrounding their split indicates that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services' investigation into child abuse claims is not over.

They are currently investigating Pitt to determine if there were more than one incident or patterns that may suggest that he had been physically abusing any of his six children. According to a source, following the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, the L.A. County Department is currently looking into the child abuse incident and trying to determine if there's more history in there.

E! Online reports that the investigation following the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt divorce will most likely take several more weeks. This is following an incident with one of their children as the child was on board an airplane with Pitt back in September. Pitt claims to be "distraught" over the allegations and wishes for the issues to be resolved immediately.

Meanwhile, the actress recently had the FBI over at her Malibu residence, where they had a lengthy meeting. It seems that the FBI had been taking statements from the actress following the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt divorce, and also spoke to their children to get their accounts.

As of now, Pitt has been seen with his children twice following the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt divorce. The former couple has reached a temporary custody agreement, in which Jolie has full custody of all six children, with Pitt being granted visitation rights.
