Tech fans have been looking for the official details of the development and release date of Huawei Mate 9. Despite the hype of the new smartphone, the company has remained silent with regard to providing concrete information about the highly anticipated handset. However, just recently, the Chinese tech manufacturer has released the first ever teaser of its new flagship smartphone.
Although no official details have been released as of the moment, several rumors and speculations have already hit the Internet giving fans a hint on what the new Huawei Mate 9 could bring to the table once it hits the market. According to the latest report, the new smartphone will carry impressive specs and features but with similar exterior design as its predecessor.
An image of what appears to be the new Huawei Mate 9 has already been shared all over the Internet. Although it has the same design as the Huawei Mate 8, the new device certainly looks sleeker and classier than the previous iteration. The alleged photo of the smartphone also shows its dual-lens camera features, a USB-Type C port and a finger print scanner, which is in a pretty interesting location on the back of the device.
If rumors prove to be true, the upcoming Huawei Mate 9 will arrive in two variations, a standard version of the new iteration and a top-tier model called Huawei Mate 9 Pro. The high-end variant is expected to come with a whopping 5.9-inch Quad HD screen with curved display technology. Both variants will run on a powerful Kirin 960 processor; however, they will differ on RAM capacity as the standard version will carry 4 GB of RAM while the Pro variant will have 6 GB.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the Huawei Mate 9 might cost consumers $1,300 once it arrives in the market. Although the price of the smartphone might be a little steep, industry experts believe that it is actually cheap considering it has the best specs under the hood.
