‘Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’ Latest News & Update: Minimum Requirements Revealed; Steep Even for Decent PC specs?

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" finally revealed the minimum requirements for this much-anticipated title and they look quite steep. Again, the issue here is just the minimum requirements and not even the recommended muscle.

Admit it, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is a good reason to celebrate the closing of 2016 for the gaming world. With all the buzz that beta testing and the upcoming World League, this title has every ace to flip all platforms. However, some bare-bone gaming rig collapsed after Steam announced the minimum requirements for newest CoD. It is too steep to the point where word "decent specs" might even need reconsideration.

PC Gamer reported that optimal "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" requirements weren't listed yet. But even so, CoD sings to the tune of Intel Core i3-3225 processor running at 3.30GHz. 2GB graphics card is needed so the best bet here is NVidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7850. Disk space is also quite demanding at 70GB, though this can grow exponentially overtime due to additional contents and updates.

Other requirements for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" are pretty standard among current game titles. These include 8GB of memory, DirectX 11 compatible sound card and 64-Bit Windows 7 or later OS. Too steep? Well, it's 2016 anyway and games are becoming more and more demanding as quality and graphics also increase.

Meanwhile, for those gamers who are confident that they already breached the minimum requirements, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will unleash on Nov 04. Xbox One and PC gamers need to zero in to that date while PlayStation 4 gamers got a taste of CoD since early October when predecessor Modern Warfare received a remastered facelift, PC Advisor reported.

Then to answer questions about what "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" nickname is going to be, "COD 2016" it is. There were speculations earlier that Infinity Ward will coin nickname from predecessors like Black Ops 4 or Advanced Warfare 2 but they were all wrong, obviously.
