Deep Silver revealed the identity of the real-life couple who will be joined hand in rotting hand in undead matrimony at a zombie-themed wedding in London later this month.
The developer's search began in mid-January to find two engaged "Dead Island" superfans, who were willing to forego the traditional black tie dress and instead undergo the zombification process for their walk down the aisle. Deep Silver even launched a Facebook page for the campaign, and announced on Sunday that the winners were none other than Jennifer Jones and Rob Blackmore.

On hearing that they had won, Jennifer commented, "We're thrilled to have been chosen to be the official zombie bride and groom for Dead Island Riptide! We're big fans of Dead Island and the horror genre, and a zombie wedding is a dream come true for us."
In addition to the zombie wedding on the beach (complete with music from an undead mariachi band), Deep Silver is also sending the couple off on a Caribbean honeymoon, thankfully worlds away from "Dead Island" and "Riptide's" setting in the South Pacific.
Unsurpisingly, the nuptials will take place on the same day that "Dead Island: Riptide" arrives in the US, April 23rd, 2013.
