'One Piece' Chapter 844 Recap - Sanji Continues His Act, Attacks Luffy
The latest chapter of the manga series showed a heart-breaking test of faith for Luffy. Sanji continued with his charade and attacked Luffy with a kick which sent him flying. Throughout his attacks, Sanji kept saying that he do not want to go back to the Strawhats, that he considers it an embarrassment to be associated with third-rate pirates. This had Nami convinced as she begged Sanji to stop attacking Luffy. Yet, Luffy remained unconvinced letting Sanji attack him but not offering any form of defense, setting the tone in the coming "One Piece" Chapter 845.
But even as he was attacking Luffy, Sanji was horrified by the turn of events. Memories of his camaraderie with Luffy kept popping up in his head but he was determined that the best course of action was to let Luffy believe that he despise them, so as to save Zeff, his hands and extricate the Straw Hats from further involvement with both Big Mom and the Vinsmokes. However, Luffy saw through his bluff calling Sanji a terrible liar, and Luffy will not likely budge from this stance in the coming "One Piece" Chapter 845.
Will Sanji Relent In Coming "One Piece" Chapter 845?
Toward the end of "One Piece" Chapter 844, Luffy was badly injured by Sanji's Concasse attack. As Sanji and the Germa 66 caravan was leaving, Luffy shouted at Sanji saying that he did not believe anything Sanji said and that he was such a terrible liar. In fact, Luffy threatened to go on a hunger strike and never leave the spot until Sanji returns in the coming "One Piece" Chapter 845.
It was too much for Sanji to take and his uncaring mask broke down. Seeing that Sanji was crying, his sister Reiju had to ask if Sanji wanted to stop momentarily. Now the question is, will Sanji go back to where Luffy is in the coming "One Piece" Chapter 845 or ignore his comrade and proceed to Big Mom for his wedding?
