Motorola Moto M Release Date, News & Update: New Smartphone Specs, Features Leak! Can Company Retain Its Reputation In Mobile Industry?

Motorola is apparently developing a new smartphone that will be soon available in the market. As the competition of high-end devices continues, Moto M is yet another mobile device to look forward to.

After Lenovo acquired the Motorola brand that made it the world's third-largest maker of smartphones in 2014, they continue to reinvent the portfolio of Motorola's smartphones. The recent leak of Motorola Moto M proves that the company is working hard to retain its reputation in the smartphone business.

According to Android Headlines, Lenovo is developing a mobile device that can compete at entry level to the mid-range level of the smartphone market. In the leaked photo and specs information, they called it Motorola Moto M and the Motorola Moto M Plus.

One of the alleged specs of Motorola Moto M feature is a metal body with a 5.5-inch 1080p display panel paired with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The processor will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 which comes with 2.0 GHz octa-core.

In GSM Arena report, Motorola Moto M has two variations for its RAM and storage depending on where it will be released. In China variation, it will come with 4GB of ram with 64GB or 128GB of storage, while in international release, it will come with an option of 3GB or 4GB of memory and 32GB or 128GB choice of storage. Also, there will be a MicroSD card slot available for all the models.

In addition, Motorola Moto M sports with a huge of 5,100 mAh battery, a rumored 16MP of rear camera and 5MP or 8MP of front camera. It's speculated that it has 1.5W of a single speaker, 3.5mm audio jack and microphones that have a feature of noise cancellation.

Meanwhile, Motorola Moto M will initially run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow but there is no confirmation yet if it will receive an Android Nougat update. The alleged smartphone is expected to come this early December 2016.
