Bandai Namco Remains Quiet Amid Issue on 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Free Updates Removal on Steam

Did Bandai Namco drop the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" free updates on Steam? This question puzzled fans who, from the started expected at least a year of free updates on Steam. Why not? When the free updates were one of the most prized feature of the game since its introduction. But now, it looks like Bandai is heading the other way around.

A recent report revealed the noticeable absence of the free updates on the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." While it was previously included on the game's description, according to the Attack of the Fanboy, the statement that says, "Free updates and post launch support for more than a year" is now gone." This might be the update that will irk fans until it remains unchanged during release date.

As for the post launch support that used to be one year, the AotF said, it was also changed to six months, but later returned to its original timeline of one year. Could it be that Bandai Namco is cutting on free things to give away? While it looks like the company's way of shortchanging the fans, Bandai has yet to release their official statement about the changes.
