PS4 Pro Game News & Update: Know PS4 Pro Games That Will Get Upgrade Patch Here!

Last month's PlayStation Meeting Event in New York unveiled two new PS4 consoles: the PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim. While the announcement of the latter surprised a few, PS4 Pro got the most attention. It left most PS4 Pro Game viewers wondering which games will benefit from the much improved console.

The newly introduced PS4 Pro Game console will allow games to be viewed at 4K, which means games will be displayed at smoother frame rates. Graphic effects are far more aesthetic, whether on 1080 or 4K displays.

While some PS4 games will get PS4 Pro support fresh out of the box, games that are already released will receive updates. The new PS4 Pro Game console will definitely improve gameplay, although it is rather vague as of now how and at which point.

Meanwhile, according to CD Projekt Red's interview on Eurogamer, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" won't be getting a PS4 Pro upgrade patch - at least, not for now. "Since we want to fully focus on Cyberpunk 2077 and Gwent, and converting "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" from a full HD game into a 4K one would be too much of a time and resource-consuming process. It added that it "decided not to release an edition of Wild Hunt supporting the new features of PlayStation Pro game console."

On a lighter note, the new PS4 Pro Game console will be thoroughly enjoyed an experienced on the following games: "Battlezone," "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," "Fallout 4," "Killing Floor 2," and "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor." Also included are "NBA 2K17," "Paragon," "The Elder Scrolls Online," "The Witness," "Titanfall 2" and "Thumper". Note that games not on the list are still unconfirmed.

Sony is yet to confirm the status of other PS4 games that will benefit the PS4 Pro Game console. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for further updates.
