'Call of Duty Modern Warfare' News and Updates: Remastered Version Brings PS4 Pro Support

Developers of the hit franchise Call of Duty will be bringing back one of its earlier games to various consoles. Call of Duty Modern Warfare will be remastered and released on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It will have its debut in less than a week and developer, Raven, has teased anticipating fans of the things to come.

During an interview, they specified a lot of aspects they worked hard on to prevent the remastered Call of Duty Modern Warfare from being a disappointment. With its first release being a huge hit, the pressure is strong on not destroying the reputation. However, with the preparations and steps they took, fans need not worry.

According to Raven, they kept in mind to keep the originality and authenticity of the first Call of Duty Modern Warfare. It is likely that they did not add new game mechanics, and if they did, it is likely going to be minimal. The goal of the company is to simply bring the game back to the market in the much newer consoles, but still improve it so as to adhere with new technology. According to Gamespot, the only confirmed alterations they made are support for richer textures and dynamic 4K graphics, features that were not present way back then.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare, however, will be experiencing few changes in the multiplayer aspect. It is confirmed that the game will be released with only 10 multiplayer maps but will be followed by six more aimed to be available on December, according to Gamezone. One of the maps Kill Confirmed will be included on the release day, a map that was not offered in the original release.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered will have a release date of November 4, 2016. However, it will only be available through the collector's edition of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
