The production took to Twitter to share the news about a social media stampede happening tomorrow for "Longmire" Season 6. The online event is happening on Sunday, October 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Facebook and Twitter, where fans and viewers are encouraged to post, share, tweet, and retweet about "Longmire" Season 6.
Fans, viewers, and participant are also encouraged to express their thoughts on the show and write their reasons why they want "Longmire" Season 6 to happen. Note that those who want to participate in the social media stampede must tag "@Netflix" and use the hashtag "#LongmireS6." The event is slated to take place for an hour. Fans are anticipating that the show is nearing renewal at Netflix that is why the event is one last effort for viewers of the show to show their support.

"Longmire" Season 6 may see the return of Robert Taylor as Walt Longmire, Katee Sackhoff as Vic Moretti, and Lou Diamond Phillips as Henry Standing Bear. Huffington Post commends the portrayal of Philips and is hopeful that the show is nearing renewal on Netflix.

The streaming service renewed the show for its fifth season on October 30 of last year, which is probably why the social media stampede was also scheduled on that day this year.
