Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, is getting married on May 2017. She is set to tie the knot with banking mogul James Matthews at St. Mark Church, a small local church in Englefield, England.
The reception for Pippa Middleton and James Matthews' upcoming wedding ceremony is going to be held at the Middleton's £6million family home located at the nearby Bucklebury, Berks. Number of guests is also expected to be small, just around 150 people consisting of close friends and relatives, Daily Mail reported.
With the arrangements, it can be noted that Pippa Middleton's simple wedding is a complete opposite of her sister Kate's lavish nuptials to Prince William in 2011. The royal couple married at the Westminster Abbey Church and the reception followed at the Buckingham Palace where over 1,900 guests were in attendance.
Pippa and James were engaged in July, several months after they started dating. The pair was first rumored to be in relationship in 2012 but the news died down since they never really got the chance to be together. They separated for a while before rekindling their romance in 2015.
According to Mirror UK, one of the couple's friends narrated that since James is a bit conservative and traditional, he went to Pippa's father to ask for her hand in marriage. It was added that since the groom wants to do everything properly, he met with his bride's parents first to personally get consent for the marriage.
The gesture impressed Pippa Middleton's parents and they are happy for their daughter. Apparently, Mike and Carole Middleton like their future son-in-law and they felt assured that he can make their daughter very happy.
Now that the wedding is set, Princess Charlotte and Prince George are expected to be the flower girl and page boy, respectively. As for the bride's maid, it is not sure yet whether the Duchess of Cambridge will do it for her younger sister.
Meanwhile, James Matthews is a successful businessman and he is the brother of a popular reality star Spencer Matthews. He previously worked for Leed & Kelloggs before starting his own company called the Goldman Sachs.
