NFL Latest Trade News & Update: Dallas Cowboys Giving Darren McFadden To Best Bidder? [POLL]

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off another rousing win over the Philadelphia Eagles (29-23), even without regular starting quarterback Tony Romo. The debate on who between him and Prescott deserves to start has been plaguing the headlines though the rookie seems to be clearly making a case.

While the quarterback issue in Dallas seems to be something that can only reach a feverish pitch once Romo is cleared to return, the Cowboys could be dealing someone else soon. The player in mention is running back Darren McFadden if the Cowboys are offered something good.

Dealing McFadden is easier said than done. He is not on the injury list but is dealing with a fractured elbow. That alone makes a potential NFL trade unlikely considering no team would deal for someone who may not be able to play, NFL Trade Rumors reported.

Curiously, several teams have nevertheless inquired about McFadden despite the injury. The report further adds that the Cowboys wanted to retain the 29-year-old running back though a tempting offer could alleviate all that.

For his part, McFadden would not mind staying with the Cowboys at least for now. However, Dallas needs to activate him soon or risk losing him for the rest of the season. The belief is that he will be activated soon whether a trade is consummated or not.

Among the alleged interested suitors include the Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Denver Broncos. The interest was expected from the said teams as most are trying to improve their rosters for the post-NFL season wars, 247 Sports reported.

While the Cowboys prefer to retain him, the right offer could change the complexion in a snap. He is coming off a 1,089-yard performance in 2015 and can certainly be a big asset to any team who wants to prep for the harder games in the NFL playoffs.
