The Walking Dead Season 7 Spoilers: Meet Your Newest Favorite Character!

The Walking Dead season 7 episode 2 was a refreshing pace from the emotional season premiere. In episode 1, Negan's twisted sense of justice sent Glenn and Abraham to their graves. Fans of the series were heartbroken over the death of the beloved characters and were anxious for episode 2. It seems like episode 2 offered a more peaceful facade to the grieving viewers.

The Walking Dead season 7 episode 2 did not scattered any bits of skull chunks. The gang arrived at the Kingdom and met a new king. The King seems to be the first true and good leader on the show. King Ezekiel is a refreshing addition to the cast. The King's arrival has made people smile ever since the series started.

King Ezekiel's routine is a bit bizarre- perhaps, borderline goofy. He is a decent human being who created a safe community for the people. He emanates an aura of hope, amidst the death and pain surrounding the world of The Walking Dead season 7.

King Ezekiel's Kingdom is seemingly safe and warm. Not only is the inhabitants safe and well-provided, they are trained fighters as well. The Kingdom has a Shakespearean feel to it, with survivors on horseback, wearing protective armors. The walls protect the inhabitants from the walkers. Moreover, they have livestock, a school and even a choir.

Ezekiel as a leader is wise but cunning. He pays tribute to the Saviors in order to avoid getting in conflict with Negan. He provides butchered pigs for Negan's group. Ezekiel does not want to go to war with the Saviors, knowing that even if they win, it will be at the cost of many lives. Ezekiel cares for the people and his character brings light to the dark undertone left about by The Walking Dead season 7 episode 1.

Ezekiel became a favorite character by most people who watched the second episode of The Walking Dead season 7. However, fans are aware that the peaceful episode is only the "calm before the storm" which means that trouble is imminent. It seems like wherever Rick's gang o goes, people die and suffer- which might likely become the fate of the inhabitants of the Kingdom.
