In a recent post on "The Fosters'" official Facebook page, a photo of Stef and Lena Foster hugging each other was teased to the public. It came with the caption "Sneak peek from The Fosters director Norman Buckley!"

The photo has since gathered more than 4,000 likes and shared more than 70 times. Most of those who commented on the "mommas' moment" said that they cannot wait to see second part of the show.

Air date and spot

"The Fosters" Season 4B will start airing on Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. It is expected to end by April and will take the spot of "Pretty Little Liars" on Freeform.

The midseason finale got everyone at the edge of their seats with cliffhangers for some of the main characters of the show. Jesus, who accidentally punched a nail into his head, was hit on the head and knocked out by Mariana's ex Nick. Jesus has been extremely cautious because of seizure risks.

On the other hand, Callie got on a car with the possible killer of Martha Johnson. Brandon lost all his hope when he learned he won't be going to Julliard because he got caught taking another student's SATs.

Will a character die?

Asked if the show will explore the subject of losing a child, executive producer Peter Paige said they have considered the idea in the past. "I don't know if any of us can bear to watch that show. The show is hard and challenging and sad, but there's also a lot of joy and happiness and humor woven through it," he explained.
