Rumors surrounding “Iron Man 4” are not boding well. There are claims that the return of Tony Stark as the epic hero might not see the light of day anymore. There are notions that Robert Downey has lost the battle.
Speculations have surfaced that Marvel is prioritizing the release of Chris Pratt’s movie series, “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Also, there are insinuations that Marvel shifts its attention for the production of “Avengers” series afterwards.
Although it has not been proven, many are hopeful that Robert Downey would reprise his role as the billionaire and philanthropist, Tony Stark. Despite the call to release and produce “Iron Man 4,” Marvel has remained mum on the latter.

Meanwhile, a former report from GamenGuide shared that the success of the "Iron Man" franchise is more than enough to set the fire burning for "Iron Man 4,” but despite the success of franchise, the release date of Robert Downey Jr. to reprise his role in the fourth installment as Tony Stark is clouded with mystery.
As noted by the same post, there are rumors surging that Robert Downey Jr. is ending his days as Tony Stark, it would then mean that "Iron Man 4" would never see the light of day in the cinemas.
In a different note, a separate post from The Gamers Drop relayed that Marvel Studios has made some statements relaying their schedules. According to the report, there are three movies set to come out from Cinematic Universe Phase 3 line-up, but the "Iron Man 4" sequel is not listed.

For the fans and followers, as for the notion that Marvel has preferred to produce "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Avengers," that notion has been debunked. Also, every rumored detail regarding "Iron Man 4" and Robert Downey should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
