Crackdown 3 is the game that makes everyone excited. Officially off-the-hook at last year's Gamescon, it is the newest game in the Crackdown Saga which started in 2007. Showcasing not-so-common technical advancements, Crackdown 3 is rising to be one of the most anticipated emerging game.
Although it was previously announced that Crackdown 3 is scheduled to launch in summer 2016, Dave Jones, Creative Director of Reagent Games, said that due to the challenges posed by the magnitude of the game, they have no choice but to delay the release up until 2017.
"Crackdown 3 is a game built for the future with a multiplayer experience that will redefine what it feels like to play games, and as we continue to work on this, it has become clear that our original timeline of delivering multiplayer to fans this summer, while maintaining the size, scope and quality of the game, would be challenging. Our top priority is to give gamers an experience they have never seen before at a scale never thought possible, and sticking to our original timeline would have compromised that goal", Dave Jones posted.
"We know that many are looking forward to becoming Agents in Crackdown 3 and we are committed to delivering the best experience in 2017. This decision was made with our fans and their gaming experience in mind." A game of this magnitude will surely post some serious requirements. Crackdown 3 system requirements are available below.
Yet the good news is, Crackdown 3 is now in Xbox Play Anywhere so you can have it either in Windows 10 or Xbox One and play it in both your PC and console. Your progress will sync in to both.
